Hands-On is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and BodyWork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education provider under Category A.

The 200 hour National Progarm is a continuous program that meets on Monday & Tuesday evenings from 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. For more information please call Dallas 972-484-8180.

Advanced Program Calendar: Dallas | Corpus Christi

Deep Tissue (56 hours)

This course focuses on the whole body but is divided into 4 segments for easy learning. The four segments are as follows: Deep Back, Shoulder, Pelvic and Legs, and Head and Neck. Each will combine Anatomy with Trigger point, Myofascial, and Muscle energy techniques to facilitate pain and syndrome release such as frozen shoulder, sciatica, headaches, and many other common and not so common problems clients may experience.

Trigger Point (24 hours)

This class is designed to give you an understanding of what causes and where trigger points are located. Trigger point therapy can be performed on a table and also incorporated into chair massage. Trigger point therapy is a must when working with chiropractors and medical doctors.

Reflexology (14 hours)

Reflexology is an eastern technique incorporating the meridians and energy paths in the feet. Reflexology is a perfect therapy for the clients who my be a little resistant to table massage.

Shiatsu (18 hours)

Shiatsu focuses on the meridians and energy paths of the body while giving you the ability to be more meditative and inspired in bodywork. A solid basis in Oriental acupressure techniques are essential for unlocking the chakra energy of the body.

Sports Massage (32 hours)

This course helps develop the roles that various muscles play in particular activities. The student will understand the pre/post event massage as well as various injuries related to sports activities.

Pathology (40 hours)

Learn medical terminology, specific diseases, injuries, and types of massage which can be indicated or contraindicated.

Anatomy (12 hours)

This portion of anatomy will focus on kinesiology of everyday movement, occupations, and sports activities. Learn how to determine which muscle is causing pain of large muscle groups.

Ethics (4 hours)

The discussion of professionalism needed to practice advanced clinical bodywork .
